Muccigrosso family has studied the winemaking process from vine to glass and over the years have mastered getting great results with little intervention.

You won't find Muccigrosso's wines you'll find through your usual sources. No matter what you are accustomed to drinking, if you are inclined to having handmade artisan wines suitable for any occasion and capable of dazzling your senses, you would be much obliged with Muccigrosso.

Zinfandel all the way, exhibiting full body, bright raspberry, varietal black pepper spiciness with licorice and chocolate on the nose. This wine will mature with characteristic aplomb. Alcohol 15%

"Table Two" Italian Style Blend - 2004 or 2005

50% Syrah, 50% Sangiovese

It's a take on a Super Tuscan wine - but mostly, it's another robust and complex red wine. You'll find the balance quite nice with blackberry fruit preeminent and cassis on the nose. Alcohol 15%

Pinot Noir - 2005 or 2006, Santa Cruz Mountain Estate

Santa Cruz Mountains are one of the preeminent Pinot Noir appellations in the country. Bringing the Pinot Noir from vine to glass takes Muccigrosso close to Mother Nature. Unpredictable, susceptible, volatile, yet subtle, exquisite and multifarious. This year Muccogrosso's trials and tribulations yielded an exceptional example of Santa Cruz Mountain wine. Big bodied with ample Cherry fruit, a subtle vanilla bouquet and modest minerality, this Pinot Noir is racy and it's in short supply. Alcohol 14.5%
